Main Scripture - The Widow’s Oil (2 Kings 4:1-7): The core message focused on the story of the prophet Elisha and the widow’s miraculous provision of oil.

• Start with What You Have: God’s miracle didn’t begin when the oil multiplied, but when the woman offered the "small jar of olive oil" that she thought was nothing. God starts with what we already possess, no matter how insignificant it seems.
• The Question of Capacity: The oil only stopped flowing when there were no more empty jars. The limitation is never God’s supply, but our capacity to receive. The key question for believers is not "Is there enough oil?" but "Have I made enough room for the oil?"

The Symbolism of Oil as the Holy Spirit: The oil represents the anointing, empowerment, and presence of the Holy Spirit. Just as jars were needed to hold the physical oil, believers are "jars of clay" (2 Corinthians 4:7) that need to be available and empty to be filled by the Spirit.

The Warning of Partial Surrender: Using the example of King Jehu (2 Kings 9-10), the sermon highlighted the danger of being anointed but not fully surrendered. Jehu was anointed and accomplished great things but refused to fully obey God. We cannot substitute anointing for obedience or intimacy with God; we must surrender not just our Sundays, but our entire lives.

Obedience Activates the Miracle: The widow’s miracle was connected to her simple obedience, even when the instruction to gather jars didn’t make logical sense. Obedience is humbly participating in what God wants to do, not manipulating Him to get a result. The miracle flows when we faithfully act on His word.

• Identify Your "Jar": Recognize what God has already placed in your hands that you may consider "nothing" (a story, a talent, a voice) and present it to God as a vessel for a miracle.
• Surrender Hidden Areas: Present the "jars" of unforgiveness, fear, or control to God so He can pour His healing anointing into those areas.
• Expand Your Capacity: Pray for more "vessels"—more faith and more areas of life to be surrendered—so the Holy Spirit can continue to fill you without limitation. The call is to be available, not perfect.
